Fashion textile

When we hear about ‘Fashion’, what comes into our minds is trend, attraction and something of great enjoyment which are softer elements. But in real sense, fashion industry is the hardest of all. It is full of complications. A trend setter has to think, actually keep on thinking about what should be his next introduction to drive people crazy.

Fashion industry is not restricted to any particular standard nor does it have any reference to any company. It is a global terms which compiles everything within itself. What’s basically includes are apparels, accessories and home textile. Different streams are included in this single fashion industry, which are source design, retailers, manufacturers and sellers.

Many others are there apart from them which are too attached in the same stream. Companies who are aligned with the production process but are outsourcing are there, then there are companies and people dealing with the functioning part of the elite fashion segment. All of them have to face the heat and pressure of market but the higher fashion departments are more under sufferance. These are all combined together to form the hard core of the real fashion textile industry.

While dealing with the textile part, fashion companies have to be really careful. Some of the issues are considered quite noticeable, they are:

  • Complete command of the customers who are ruling the industry
  • Complicated supply chain and other process
  • Textile companies have to manage the entire product line very correctly for industry establishment
  • Both delivery and even launch of the product takes much time
  • Introduction of different products is an important are in which all companies should be able to adapt and should be able to improve product mix.
  • Maintenance and control of inventory is another important are of great concern
  • Technical improvement and its impact have to be taken care by the fashion industry.
  • Designs have issues related to copyright and other related concerns.
  • Last buy not the least Consumer are controlling everything so they have the entire power over the industry.

Last point is of great concern as buyers today are not under any pressure. They are well equipped with good purchasing power which was never there earlier. Level of tolerance has reduced because of frequent changes in lifestyles and timely pressures. Human rights and environmental behaviors are important areas of concern for them and they are completely aware about them which make them comfortable and benefited from all sides, due to this, the demand high quality increasing. And fashion professionals are working harder to cope up with the expectations of the market.

People in Fashion textiles are striving to bring changes which can satisfy their customers in the way they want. Change is the thumb rule of establishment and survival here. And textile companies have been constantly moving towards this and have successfully managed to give whatever the society needs. Fashion textile is the key towards living stylish life today as we all look forward to smart living.
