Satin made of silk is recommended to be dry cleaned always. Otherwise, fabric like satin should be washed with normal detergent in lukewarm water preferably with hands only. Machine wash is not recommended generally though it’s being used nowadays in many cases. Machines that can give better performance should only be used.
